Svd Nursery Garden

Our nursery is located right on the Main Road in Siluvaichery Village. If you are driving through the Ariyalur District, you will probably see our sign near Alagapuram Post. Svd Nursery Garden is really just a result of us liking to grow things. We have been at this 9/2 C1 spot for a good while. The soil here is decent, but we still put in a lot of work to keep the saplings and plants in good shape. It’s a quiet village life for the most part, though the Main Road gets some noise from the passing trucks. We spend most of our time getting our hands dirty. There is always a pot to fill or a tree to prune. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just us and the plants. People from the nearby villages stop by when they need something for their own gardens or farms. We talk about the weather a lot because it matters so much to what we do. If it’s too dry, we’re out there with the hoses all day. We keep it simple and just try to make sure everything we sell is healthy. It's satisfying to see a small seed turn into something big. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just grow plants and try to be fair with everyone who comes through our gate. It is a slow business but it is a good life.
