About Tiwari Marbles – Building & Construction Material in Jaunpur
Tiwari Marbles is over by Raja Sahab Ka Pokhara, near the Sipah area. Having the pokhara nearby is nice because there is usually a bit of a breeze coming off the water, though it still gets plenty hot when we are out in the sun. We have a lot of marble slabs leaning against the walls of our yard. Most of our day is spent walking around the stones and showing people the different patterns and colors that have come in. Sipah is a busy enough place and people are always passing by the pond on their way to work or home. We keep a small office where we handle the bills and sit down for a minute when the yard is quiet. The marble is heavy so we use rollers and sometimes just old-fashioned muscle to get things where they need to go. You can always find some scrap pieces of stone lying around the edges of the property. We try to keep things organized but when a big shipment arrives everything gets a bit messy for a few days. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us by the stacks of white and grey stone visible from the road. It’s just a regular business where we show up, move some stone, and talk to the folks who stop by. We don't spend much time worrying about things, we just keep the yard running as best as we can.
