Working over here at Indsil Energy & Electro Chemical Ltd. feels different depending on the day. We are located west of the Police Line in Wazidpur, Jaunpur. It's a pretty specific spot to find. The area is usually active because of the police station nearby, so there’s always something happening on the road. We spend a lot of time focused on the energy and chemical side of things, which keeps our hands full. It’s not always the cleanest work, as you can imagine with chemicals and power stuff, but it’s what we do. The office itself is practical. We have some old fans that creak a bit and the filing system is mostly just piles that we understand, even if nobody else would. Sometimes the heat in Jaunpur gets really intense, and we just try to keep the water cold and the machines running. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. It feels like home even with the chemical smells and the heavy equipment noise. People around here know the building. We don't really do much besides the daily shift work and making sure everything stays on track. It’s a living, and it’s right here in Wazidpur. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks every morning until it's time to lock up.
