You can find us over at Vazidpur Tiraha in Jaunpur, specifically on the ground floor in Room No. 1, near the Pd Car Parlour. Being at the Tiraha means there is always something going on outside our windows. It’s a busy intersection, so we see all sorts of people passing by throughout the day. We’ve been operating Jdg Sanyukta Gramin Nidhi Limited from this little room for some time. It is a very basic setup with just enough space for our files and a couple of visitors to sit down. We don't believe in spending money on expensive decorations or things we don't really need to get the job done. Our days are mostly filled with local people coming in to talk about their savings or small loans. We know many of them by their first names, which makes the work feel more personal. The traffic noise from the car parlour and the street can get a bit loud, but we’ve learned to talk over it. We focus on keeping our records straight and making sure everything is done correctly for our members. There are no big corporate meetings here, just us trying to be useful to the folks in Jaunpur. If you are in the neighborhood, you’ll probably see us sitting there with our folders and pens. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things simple and honest for everyone.
