Ask Engineering

Ask Engineering is set up at Plot No. 159 in Jaunpur. You can find us pretty easily because we are right near the Government School. Sometimes you can hear the kids playing during their break while we are working on the machines inside. It is a busy little corner of the neighborhood. We handle all sorts of engineering tasks here. The shop isn't the biggest, but we fit everything we need inside. Most days are spent looking at drawings or fixing parts that people bring in. It's a lot of metalwork and measuring. We try to keep the place organized, though it gets a bit cluttered when we have three or four big projects going at once. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it is hot outside. We have a few regular guys who have been here for years. They know exactly where every tool is kept. If someone stops by, they usually just walk up to the main door. We don't have a receptionist or anything. One of the guys will just wipe the grease off his hands and see what you need. It is practical work. We like being in Jaunpur because it is close to everything we need. Being near the school makes it feel like we are part of the community. We just get on with our jobs and try to do things right the first time so people come back next time they have a problem. It works out fine for us.
