You can find Ankit And Brothers over on Ghas Mandi Road. We are the very first shop, right there at Kanpur Dharamshala in Shahganj. Being the first shop makes it easy for people to spot us, but the road itself can be a real mess during the busy hours. We’ve been in this spot for quite a long time now. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so things are pretty casual around here. We don’t wear suits or follow strict corporate rules. If the shutters are up, we’re working. Most of our day is spent chatting with people who stop by or sorting through our stock. It’s a dusty part of town, but we don’t mind. We have our regulars who come in just to say hello. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside on a stool until it comes back. That’s just how it goes in Shahganj. We don’t have a website that works properly or a big marketing budget. We just rely on being where we are. It’s a small shop, but it keeps us busy enough. We know the other shopkeepers on Ghas Mandi Road well. We help each other out when needed. It’s a simple life. We open early, stay until the evening, and deal with whatever challenges the day throws at us. It’s honest work and we’re happy to be here. Not much else to say, really.
