Our setup for SCAC Construction Private Limited is located over in Jogvad, right in Lalpur village. It is a quiet spot, mostly local people around here who have lived in the area for generations. Amlesh K Chandravanshi handles a lot of the day-to-day stuff for the company. We are not some big city firm with a glass office and fancy carpets. We work out of the village because that is where the work actually happens. Construction takes up most of our time, and we are usually out in the mud or the dust. The office in Jogvad is where we keep all the heavy tools and the stacks of papers. It is a bit out of the way for some people, but it suits our needs just fine. We have been part of the community here for a good bit now. People know where to find us if they need a wall built or a repair done on their property. It is practical work and we take it as it comes. We do not spend much money on fancy furniture or office decor. Most of the time, the chairs have some dirt on them from our work clothes. We just try to finish what we start and move on. Dealing with construction in a village like this means you know everyone. We are not trying to be something we are not. We just do the jobs that come our way and try to stay busy.
