Jashpur Organic Producer Company Limited is tucked away in Village Jujgu, which is part of the Bagicha area. We work out of house number 29 near the Kurdeg post office. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but it’s where all the real work happens. Sarbar Nath Say Painkra helps keep things running at this spot. We spend most of our time dealing with organic stuff, which mostly means a lot of physical labor out in the fields and in the storage area. It’s not a flashy business at all. We have stacks of crates and bags everywhere, and there’s always someone coming by with a tractor or a cart. Jashpur has its own rhythm, and we just follow that. The air is different here than in the cities, and we like it that way. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the produce is handled right and that the paperwork for the organic certification doesn't get messed up. Some days are long, especially when the harvest is coming in and everyone is tired. We sit around at the end of the shift near the village road and just talk about the next day’s plans. It’s a simple setup, nothing too complicated, just trying to get things done without making too much of a fuss. We're just locals trying to make this whole thing work out.
