Babba Krishi Sewa Kendra

If you head down Jashpur Road towards Village Patthal, you’ll find us in the New Market area. We are situated quite close to the Sitapur Tahsheel, which is a busy spot where everyone seems to congregate eventually. Babba Krishi Sewa Kendra is really just a place for folks to get what they need for their land. We spend a lot of our time talking to people about the weather and how the crops are doing this year. The shop is filled with bags and tools, and there is usually a bit of dust on everything, but that’s normal for a place like this. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s mostly just shelves stocked high and a counter where we settle up. During the planting season, it gets really hectic and we barely have time to sit down for lunch. Other times, when the weather is quiet, we just sit out front and watch the traffic go by on Jashpur Road. It’s a simple existence, and we’ve gotten to know the families around here pretty well over the seasons. We try to keep the things people ask for most in stock, even though the delivery trucks sometimes take their sweet time getting out to us. Being in New Market means we see a lot of familiar faces every single day, which makes the work feel a lot less like work.
