Shubh Overseas

Out here at Shed No-D-5 in the Jagdish Industries area, things move at their own pace. We’re part of the Gidc Industrial Estate on Atkot Road. Shubh Overseas isn’t a big name you’d see on a billboard. We’re mostly just focused on packing and moving stuff for export. The shed gets hot in the afternoons, but we’ve got some fans going. There are boxes stacked everywhere. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes when a big shipment comes in, the floor gets a bit cluttered. It’s just the nature of the work. Most of us have been working in this estate for a long time, so we know the guys at the other sheds. We share tools and help each other out when a truck gets stuck. We handle a lot of paperwork because of the overseas stuff, which can be a headache, but we get through it. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the crates are sturdy and the labels are correct. If a customer calls, they usually talk to one of us directly, not a machine. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in our work clothes, maybe having a quick lunch in the corner. It’s a practical place for practical work. We just keep our heads down and keep moving. We hope the trucks arrive on time today.
