Shri Mahakal Traders

Shri Mahakal Traders. It's in Ratlam district, right near Jaora. We’ve been running this for some time now. Mostly it’s just us handling whatever comes through the door. The shop isn’t fancy or anything, just a solid place where people from around Jaora stop by. We deal with various trading goods. It gets pretty dusty here when the trucks go past on the main road, but that’s just how it is in this part of Ratlam. My uncle started things off and now we just keep it moving. Some days are slow, while others we don't even have time to sit for lunch. We keep a lot of stock in the back. People know us by the name Shri Mahakal. It’s a name that means a lot in these parts. We try to be fair with everyone. You’ll usually find one of us sitting out front near the entrance. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit under the fan and wait it out. It’s not a big corporate office, just a local trading spot. We know most of our customers by their first names because they’ve been coming here for years. If you’re heading towards Jaora, you’ll probably see our sign. We don't do much advertising, word of mouth is usually enough for us. It’s a simple life, buying and selling, making sure the ledgers are right at the end of the day. Our family has lived in Ratlam forever so we aren't going anywhere else.
