Koti Bazar is a lively place to be. There are shoppers everywhere, and the noise from the market is constant from morning until evening. Our shop is a family-run kind of place. It’s been passed down, and we take pride in just being here every day. The space isn't huge, but we have everything tucked into the shelves and corners. Every morning starts with opening the shutters and cleaning the front step. Then the regular customers start showing up. We know most of them by name, and we usually end up talking about more than just business. It’s a very social way to work. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a marketing team. We just rely on being in a good spot and treating people fairly. When the temple has a festival, the whole street gets even more crowded, and we usually stay open a bit later. It’s a busy life, but we like the energy of the bazaar. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, one day at a time. It’s a simple shop with a lot of history in these walls, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
