My name is Srinivas and I run Venkateshwara Transport from our spot here in Murimadugu village. We’ve been at 7-31 for a while now. Jannaram is where we mostly operate, keeping the trucks moving day and night. It’s hard work, especially with the roads like they are sometimes, but we get the job done. I started this with just one old truck and now we have a few more drivers who help out. Most people around Murimadugu know where to find us. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just the yard and the vehicles. Sometimes the phone rings at odd hours and someone needs something moved to the next town. We try to help when we can. It’s a local operation, nothing too complicated. My cousin helps with the logs and the paperwork when he has time. Usually, you’ll find me out near the trucks or checking the tires. It's a lot of grease and dust every day. We know the routes around Jannaram like the back of our hands. If someone needs a load carried, they just stop by the gate. We’ve seen the village change over the years while we’ve been sitting here at 7-31. It’s just us doing what we do to keep things going. I don't spend much time at a desk because the work is outside. That's how it's always been for us at Venkateshwara Transport.
