Our place is over in Ward 17 of Sakti, right near the electricity office. It is a handy landmark because everyone knows where the power station is. We work with agro products and breeding, so things can get a bit messy or loud depending on what is happening that day. The office is not anything special, just a desk and some chairs where we handle the books. We spend a lot of time out back or talking to folks who come in from the nearby farms. Being in Sakti, we see a lot of the same faces every week. The weather really dictates how our day goes. If it is raining, we are mostly stuck inside catching up on stuff we ignored when it was sunny. We keep the gate open during the day so people can just walk in. It is a bit of a trek for some, but being near the electricity office helps with directions. We have a couple of trucks that come in and out with supplies. It is a small operation, really. Just a few of us trying to stay on top of the breeding schedules and making sure the agro side of things stays steady. Sometimes the phone rings all day, and other times it is quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We just take it as it comes. It is a decent spot to work, and we like being part of the local scene here in Ward 17.
