If you head down Ambikapur Road in Katghora, you’ll eventually run into our place. New Shri Vishwakarma Engineering Works is situated within the Vishwakarma Industries area. It’s a practical sort of place, built for hard work rather than looking good for visitors. The air around here usually smells like cut metal and grease. Katghora is a busy junction, so there is always a bit of a rumble from the heavy vehicles passing by. We don't have any shiny glass windows or air-conditioned lobbies. It’s a functional shed where the tools are always within reach. The floor is stained from years of work, and the benches are scarred, but that’s just how an engineering shop should be.
