Our site is the Larson & Tourbo Mhi Boilers Pvt. Ltd. facility located at Mukta Raja, near the Baradwar area in Champa. Chhattisgarh is known for its heat, and it definitely feels that way when you are out near the boilers. This is a very industrial setting. We are surrounded by heavy machinery and the sound of metal being worked on. The address is Po-Mukta Raja, and we are a key part of the power equipment supply chain in this region. Most of the people who work here are locals from the Champa area or move here specifically for the industrial jobs. It’s not the kind of place you visit for a tour. It’s a place where people wear hard hats and boots all day long. The office part of the building is functional and a bit cramped with all the safety manuals and technical specifications we have to keep on hand. We deal with some very large-scale engineering, so there is always a lot of pressure to get the measurements exactly right. Lunch is usually a quick affair before heading back to the floor.
