We are located in Janjgir-Champa, specifically in the Mission Compound area. It’s Ward Number 24 if you’re looking at the official maps. Chhattisgarh can get pretty hot, but our little spot in the compound stays okay. We’ve been working out of Janjgir for a while now. The place is just a handful of us sitting around desks and trying to keep everything moving. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s more like a group of neighbors working together. The Mission Compound is a recognizable landmark for folks who live around here, so people usually find us without too much trouble. We spend most of our time at our desks or talking to people who come through the door. There’s always some new task to figure out or some logistical thing to solve. It’s not the kind of work that makes the news, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. Sometimes we have tea together and talk about what needs to be done for the next week. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and serves its purpose just fine. We have some filing cabinets that are overstuffed and a few old chairs, but it’s home to us. It feels like a real part of the Janjgir community, which is exactly how we like it. We aren't doing anything fancy, just the basics every single day until the sun goes down.
