Our office is on Bank Street in Jangaon. The house number is 1-10-111. It is a busy street with people coming and going all the time. Being in the Warangal district area, we see a lot of local farmers and shopkeepers. We handle chit funds here, which keeps us pretty busy most days. The building is an older one, but it is sturdy. We have our desks set up in a way that makes it easy to talk to people who come in. There is no air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that click a bit when they are on high. We write everything down in big registers. Sometimes the ink smudges if the weather is too humid. That is just how it goes. People in Jangaon know where Bank Street is, so we aren't hard to find. We don't do anything fancy. We just run the chits and make sure the auctions happen on time. It is a lot of responsibility, but we have gotten used to the rhythm of it. Every month follows the same pattern. We like the routine. It keeps things predictable. If you're walking down towards the main part of the street, you will see our sign. It is a small place, but we have enough room for everyone to gather when it is time for the monthly draw. We have been here a good while now and plan to stay. It is just a normal local office.
