My office is located right at H.No. 12-268 in Akulavari Ghanpur. Living and working in a place like Eturnagaram means you pretty much know everyone in the neighborhood. I started this construction business on my own a while back because I saw that people around here needed decent places to live that wouldn't fall apart after just a few years. It's a one-person company for the most part, though I do hire some of the local workers when there's a big job that needs finishing. We spend a lot of our time out in the hot sun, measuring plots and making sure the bricks are actually laid straight. It's not a very glamorous life, but it pays the bills and keeps the community growing a little bit more every year. Sometimes the building supplies take a bit longer to reach us out here in Ghanpur, but we just make do with whatever we have on hand. I usually meet people right at the building site or they just drop by my house to chat about their plans for a new room or a wall. There's no big corporate office with fancy air conditioning here. Just a lot of paper maps, some cement dust on the floor, and a lot of honest effort. People around here know they can find me if they have a question about a roof or a foundation. I don't use fancy computer programs; it's mostly just experience and knowing how the ground is around here. It is a quiet life.
