Our business, Sk. Parvez Alam & Co., is located in the village of Piranpara. Our mailing address goes through the post office at Rajput Teghari and we fall under the Raghunathganj police station in Jangipur. It’s a very local way of describing where we are, but that’s how things work in this part of West Bengal. We are very much a part of the village life here. The work we do is handled by a small group of us who have lived in Piranpara for most of our lives. It’s a quiet area compared to the big cities, but there is still plenty to do every day. We don't have a big storefront or a website. Most people find us by asking around the village or at the post office. We spend our days dealing with whatever business comes our way, mostly keeping things running smoothly and making sure the accounts are right. Life in Jangipur has its own pace, and we follow that. We are just regular people working out of a small office in the village. It’s not about being the biggest or the best; it’s just about being there and doing the work that needs to be done.
