Nandan Mukherjee & Co. is located in Village Pashpur. We are part of the Jangipara area, which falls under the Hooghly district. It is a rural setting, so things move a bit slower here than they do in the big cities. We like it that way. Our office is a simple structure in the village. We don't have air conditioning or fancy furniture. We just have our desks and our files. Jangipara is where we go for any official work since the post office and the police station are there. Being in Hooghly, we are surrounded by a lot of greenery and fields. Sometimes, when it rains, the roads in Pashpur get a bit muddy and it is hard for trucks to reach us. We just wait for things to dry out. We don't have a big corporate story. We are just a local company that started small and stayed that way. We know all the farmers and families in the village. They stop by to talk even when they don't have any business with us. It makes the day go by faster. We handle our paperwork manually for the most part. It is how we have always done it. We aren't looking to expand or move to the city. Village Pashpur is where we belong. We just keep doing our work and taking care of what needs to be done. It is a quiet life.
