We are located in Jandiali, right off the Chandigarh Road. If you’re looking for us, we’re tucked away on the back side of the Sunrise Marriage Palace. We are also pretty close to Dawn Motors, so that’s a good landmark to use. The workshop is usually filled with the sound of the CNC machines cutting through wood. It’s a specific kind of high-pitched noise that you get used to after a while. There’s almost always a smell of fresh sawdust in the air, which I personally don’t mind, though it gets everywhere. Our space is pretty open to let the air circulate, which is necessary when the machines are running all day. We aren't a big corporation; it’s more of a local operation where we keep an eye on everything ourselves. The floor is covered in wood shavings by the afternoon, no matter how many times we sweep it. We spend most of our time staring at screens and then checking the physical pieces to make sure the cuts are where they should be. Sometimes people get lost trying to find the turn behind the marriage palace, so we end up giving directions over the phone quite a bit. It’s a grounded kind of life here on the outskirts of Chandigarh. We just show up, set the programs, and watch the wood take shape. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning till evening.
