Swetha Handlooms

We are located at H. No-5-59 in the Harijanwada area of Jangam. Swetha Handlooms is a place where we focus on weaving and fabrics. It is a traditional kind of work, and it takes a lot of manual effort to get things done. We have our looms set up, and they make a lot of noise when they are running. The house is where we do most of the work. Jangam is a place where many people know about weaving, so we fit right in. We spend hours sitting at the machines, watching the threads come together to make something. It isn't fast work, but it is what we know how to do. The neighborhood of Harijanwada is where we have been for quite some time. We aren't a big factory or anything, just a local handloom setup. Sometimes the threads tangle and we have to spend time fixing them. It can be frustrating, but you just have to be patient with the process. We don't have a big showroom. People usually just come to the house to see what we have made. We use simple tools and techniques that have been around for a long time. It is just us working with our hands every day. We try to keep the weaving even, but since it is handloom, every piece has its own little differences. That is just how it is around here.
