Rs Rice Mill

Our mill is located out in Village Badhona. It's a quiet area in the Hisua taluka of Nawada district. We’ve been operating Rs Rice Mill right here for quite some time. The post office is nearby, so that’s a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. Most of our days are spent dealing with the harvest and the machinery. It gets quite loud when the milling is in full swing. There’s always dust in the air and the smell of grain everywhere. It’s not a polished environment, but it’s where we work. We deal with local farmers mostly. They bring in their loads and we get to work. The seasons really dictate how busy we are. During the harvest, we’re working long hours just to keep up. When it’s off-season, we spend time fixing the machines and cleaning up the yard. We don’t have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It’s just a handful of us making sure the rice gets processed. The roads in the village can be a bit rough after it rains, so getting trucks in and out takes some effort. We’ve lived in this district our whole lives, so we know the people and the land. It’s a basic operation but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep the gates open and the motors running whenever there is work to be done.
