R. Granite

Our shop is over at Number 17/3 in Gahlaur, specifically in the Markama area of Sikandra. It is a small place, but we keep it packed with as much granite as we can fit. R. Granite is not a huge warehouse; it is more of a local shop where we know everyone who walks through the door. We spend a lot of time out front, mostly because that is where the slabs are kept and where the air is better. Dealing with stone in Sikandra means you get to know the local building habits really well. We see a lot of the same contractors every week. We do not have a website or anything like that, we just keep the shop open and wait for people to come by. It can be a bit dusty and the work is heavy on the back, but it is what we do. We try to keep the shop organized, but when a big shipment comes in, things can get a little cluttered for a few days. That is just the reality of running a stone business in a small village area. We do not use any complicated systems. We just write things down and make sure the customers get the right pieces for their floors or counters. It is a humble way to make a living, and we are fine with that. It is just a shop.
