Prajapati Social Foundation

You can find Prajapati Social Foundation over at Plot No 145 in Vikrampur. We are located in the Kajra area, which falls under the Surjgarha block in Lakhisarai district. Our spot is a bit tucked away near Thana No 92. It is a typical Bihar village environment. There is plenty of open ground around us, and the Kajra railway station is not too far away if you are traveling by train. We do not have a fancy entrance or a big gate. It is mostly just a practical, functional space where we sit and work on various social issues. The building is simple, built with regular bricks and mortar, and there is nothing modern about it. Most of the folks who come to see us are from Banishipur Arma or other small spots nearby. We try to deal with whatever problems come through the door. Sometimes people come by to talk about water issues, and other times it is just about helping a neighbor understand a government document. We do not put on any airs here. Life in Lakhisarai involves a lot of hard work, and our foundation reflects that reality. We drink a lot of tea and talk through things until we can figure out a sensible solution. The foundation is not some big, distant corporation. It is just a group of us trying to make the neighborhood a little bit better for the people living here. We know the local land and we know the local people, and that is what matters to us.
