Ms Telephone Center

Our little shop is in Maharaj Ganj. We are right near the post office in Jamui. Being near that post office is really handy because everyone knows where to find it. We’ve been running Ms Telephone Center for a while now. It’s a small place, but it stays busy most of the time. People come in for all sorts of phone-related things. We see a lot of the local folks from Jamui coming through our doors. It’s a friendly place to spend the day. We spend a lot of time on the phone ourselves, talking to suppliers or fixing connections. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stay organized. We have some chairs for people to wait in and a counter where we do most of the daily work. It’s not a fancy corporate office. It feels more like a part of the neighborhood. We hear the goings-on at the post office and the regular noise from the street. Some days are quiet and we just sit and wait for the next person to walk in. Other days it’s non-stop from morning to night. We don't have any big slogans. We just fix what’s broken and help people with their phones. It’s honest work and it keeps us connected to the people around here. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who live nearby. It’s just a normal day for us in Maharaj Ganj. We deal with SIM cards and repairs whenever people need them.
