It’s a quiet enough area most days, which helps when we’re trying to get the books in order. We do construction work, mostly around the local area. It’s a family-run sort of feeling even though we're a private limited company. My son and I, along with a few helpers, manage the day-to-day stuff. We don't have a flashy storefront or anything like that. People usually just hear about us from their neighbors. It's been that way for a while now. We keep our equipment in a safe spot and head out early every morning. Construction isn't easy, there's always a lot of heavy lifting and making sure things are level. We just take it one day at a time. Sometimes the rain slows us down, especially during the monsoon, but we catch up. We aren't much for fancy words or big promises. We just show up at the site and do the work that needs doing. Professor Colony is a good home base for us. It’s where we live and work, so we know everyone around here. Just a local business trying to do honest work. We hope to keep doing this for many more years as long as the work keeps coming. There is a small garden outside where we sit when the sun isn't too hot.
