If you come down to Mihijam in Jamtara, you'll find us on the second floor of the SBI Building. It’s right on Station Road, so it's easy to spot if you're looking for it. We started Maihar Ganga Resort because there wasn't much around here for folks to stay in. We aren't a big resort with swimming pools and all that, despite what the name says. It's more of a guest house setup for travelers. We share the building with the bank, so it stays pretty busy during the daytime. At night it gets much quieter. We've got a few rooms fixed up. My cousin helps me with the cleaning and the front desk work. It's a small operation. We spend a lot of time just making sure the fans work and the sheets are kept fresh. Station Road can get a bit dusty with all the people coming from the railway, but we try our best to keep the inside tidy. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person to help us. Usually, people just walk in or call us up. Being in Jamtara, things move a bit slower, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Jharkhand, just a reliable spot for someone who needs a roof for the night. It's just us running the place as best we can. We're usually around if someone needs anything, even if it's just directions to the market.
