Yahoo.Com has a small presence over at C4/8 Indranagar in Jamshedpur. We are located in the Telco area, which is a part of town with a lot of history. Jamshedpur-831008 is a bit quieter than the big cities, and we like that. Our office is tucked away in a residential-feeling street in Indranagar. It’s not a big glass tower. It’s just a regular building where we’ve set up our workstations. We have a small team here in Jharkhand that handles the local tasks. It’s a very relaxed environment, almost like a family. We don’t wear suits and we don't have formal meetings with slides and presentations. Usually, we just chat over a cup of tea about what needs to be finished. The neighborhood is nice, with lots of trees and people who know each other. You can hear the sounds of the colony while we work. It’s a far cry from the high-pressure tech offices you see in movies. We just focus on the basics and try to stay organized. Sometimes the internet acts up or the heat gets a bit much, but we just keep going. It’s a simple, honest way to work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy address. We just like being here in Jamshedpur and doing our part for the company without any extra corporate polish or overhead.
