Our office is sitting right on Road No-3 in the Baghbeda New Basti area. It is a part of Jamshedpur that feels like a real neighborhood where people actually live and work together. Most days you can see the neighbors heading out to the market or kids playing near the houses. To get here, you have to find your way to P.O Baraudaghat. Jharkhand weather can be quite something, especially in the summer when the heat really starts to kick in. Inside the building, things are pretty simple. We have the usual setup with desks and some old files. There is a small tea shop not too far away where most of us go during the break. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the trucks pass by, but that is just part of being in Jamshedpur. We have been in this spot for a while now. It is not a shiny glass building or anything like that, just a regular place in a busy part of town. Sometimes the mail gets delayed at the post office, but we usually just walk over there to check if something is important. It is a practical way to handle things. We like the fact that we are tucked away in New Basti instead of being in the middle of the noisy city center. It makes the mornings a bit quieter for everyone working here.
