Tata Steel

Our office is located at Flat No 60 on I.C Road, right in the Bistupur area of Jamshedpur. It’s a professional flat, so it feels more like a home that’s been turned into a workplace than a big corporate building. Being in Bistupur is handy because everything we need is just around the corner, from the local markets to the main industrial gates. This Tata Steel spot is where we handle a lot of the paperwork and the coordination for the local projects. It can get a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work with the space we have. The floors are a bit creaky and the desks are pushed close together, but it creates a friendly vibe. We don't have a big HR department or a cafeteria here. We usually just order something from one of the nearby stalls or bring our own tiffins from home. Jharkhand is home for most of us, and Jamshedpur is a town where everyone is connected to steel in one way or another. Working out of a flat makes the job feel a bit more personal. We talk to each other across the room instead of sending internal messages. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the blueprints and maps lying around, but we know where everything is. It’s just a normal, busy place where we put in our hours and get things sorted.
