Tata Steel Limited, Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur is basically built around the name Tata Steel Limited, so having an office here at Shanti Hari Abasan feels right. We are located in Flat No-1/E, right on the 1st Inner Circular Road in Bistupur. Being in a flat instead of a big glass tower makes the whole thing feel a bit more personal, I guess. You walk in and it’s a standard residential building turned into a workspace. It’s got that 838001 pin code vibe where everything is familiar. The Inner Circular Road is usually humming with activity, especially with people moving between different parts of the city. We aren’t hard to find once you get into Bistupur, as most people know the buildings around here. The office itself is just a place where we handle the daily logs and meetings. There’s no big lobby or receptionist with a headset, just a door with our name on it. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through the piles of things that need doing. It can get a bit loud when the traffic picks up outside, but we’re used to it by now. It’s a practical spot for Tata Steel Limited to have a presence. We keep things pretty straightforward and don’t spend much time worrying about the decor. It’s just about being here and getting through the tasks we have for the day. That is the way we operate on Inner Circular Road.
