You can find us over at Flat No 56/B in the ECC Flats, which is part of the Kadma area here in Jamshedpur. It’s a residential-feeling spot, quite quiet compared to the big plant gates. We’ve been operating out of this Ulyan neighborhood for a while, and it feels more like a home than a stiff office. Being part of the Tata Steel, Jamshedpur family means almost everyone you meet is connected to the works in some way. This particular spot in the 831005 area is where we handle a lot of the day-to-day administrative bits. The stairs in the building are a bit narrow, and the flat itself is packed with desks and files. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights outside. Most people just know the address and drop by when they need to settle something. Jamshedpur has its own pace, and living and working in Kadma is pretty convenient for us. We often walk to work or take a short ride, and you run into colleagues at the local markets. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls; it’s just a regular flat where we keep the records straight. The fan hums all day, and we usually have the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes through. It’s a very grounded way to work, staying close to the residential side of the company life. It suits us just fine for the kind of work we do every day.
