Tarapore & Company

Tarapore & Company is based at 38, B-Road in the Sonari West Layout area of Jamshedpur. It is a fairly quiet residential part of town, which makes for a nice working environment. Our office is actually more like a house that we have adapted for our work. It has a small front area where we sometimes sit when the weather is nice. We aren't into the whole corporate culture thing at all. Our furniture is a bit older and doesn't all match, but it is comfortable enough for a long day. We know most of the people who live on this street and we always say hello when we see them. It feels more like being part of a neighborhood than just being in a business district. We handle our paperwork and daily operations without much ceremony. There is no one here trying to be the boss of everyone else. We just work together as a small team. Jamshedpur is where we belong, and Sonari is a good place to be situated. We don't spend any money on advertising because word of mouth has always worked for us. It’s a very simple and grounded way to do things. The office can get a bit crowded with all the files we have collected over the years, but it has a nice, lived-in feel. We are just regular people doing our best every day.
