Tarapore & Co.

Tarapore & Co. has been operating out of Flat No. 32 in the Aarti Apartment for quite a while now. Being right on Post Office Road in the Mango area of Jamshedpur makes it pretty easy for people to find us, which is good. It is a busy street, so there is always something going on outside. The office itself is not much to look at, just a regular flat where we keep our files and desks. We started with just a couple of people and it has grown a bit since then, but we still feel like a small team. The stairs up to the office can be a bit much if you are carrying heavy boxes, but we are used to it by now. We usually have the windows open to let the breeze in, even if it brings in a bit of dust from the road. Most of our neighbors are just regular families living their lives, so we try not to be too loud. We don't have any fancy signs or big posters. It’s just a place where we come to get our daily tasks done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of living in Jamshedpur. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the news while we work. It’s an honest, simple way to spend the day. We are glad to be part of the Mango community.
