Our setup here in Sakchi is a bit different because we’re located right in the Supervisor Flat area. It makes things feel more like a community than a standard industrial site. Living and working in Jamshedpur means you're always close to the heat of the industry, but here at SA-237, it stays relatively calm. Stewarts & Lloyeds Of India Ltd. has been using this space for a good while. The rooms are a bit cramped with all the papers and ledgers, but we manage. There’s a lot of activity outside in the Sakchi markets, especially in the evenings, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. Usually, someone just yells from the back if there's a visitor at the door. The furniture is mostly wooden and has been here since before I started. We drink a lot of tea while we go over the numbers. It’s not a glamorous place, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the neighbors complain if we have too many trucks nearby, but we try to be quiet. Jamshedpur is a hardworking town, and we fit right into that. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just have the work that needs finishing by Friday. It’s simple and straightforward. It’s just how we operate day in and day out without much change.
