S.R.M (Fabrication)

You can find us at Quarter Number 1026 on Street-45 in Section 8/D of Bokaro Steel City. This is a town built on steel, and we’ve been part of the fabrication scene here for a long time. Our setup is simple. We have the tools and the space to put things together. It’s noisy and there is always the smell of metal and welding in the air. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We mostly work in the shop or out on various sites around the city. Fabrication is tough work. You have to be precise, or things don't fit together. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and joining pieces of metal. Sometimes the heat from the furnaces nearby makes it even hotter, but you get used to it. Our crew is small but they know their way around a welding torch. We don't do a lot of talking. We just look at the drawings and get to work. Most of our clients are local businesses or people needing repairs. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. People just know us from the work we’ve done in the past. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy. We like being in Bokaro because everything here is about building and making things. We fit right in with that. It’s just what we do. We’ve been at it for years.
