Sandhu Motor Transport

We are located right on Gurudwara Road over in Mango. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of all the traffic coming through this part of town. The office isn't much to look at, just a room with some old cupboards for files and a few chairs that have seen better days. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, talking to drivers or checking where the loads are. There’s a lot of paperwork with transport, more than you’d think. It’s always coming in and going out. You can hear the big engines idling outside quite often. When it rains, the area around the road gets pretty muddy, and we end up tracking it into the office. We don't mind it much anymore. We’ve got a small team, and we all know the routine by heart. Sometimes a driver comes in late at night and we have to be there to sort out the documents. It’s not a nine-to-five kind of job. The tea pot is almost always on because someone is always needing a break. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything. It's just a practical business running from a small office on a busy road. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the trucks get where they need to go without too much trouble.
