We set up Salon Professionals over at Shopper Square in Tatanagar, right near the Delhi Darbar restaurant. It’s a lively spot to be. Most days, the place smells like hairspray and different shampoos. We have a few chairs and big mirrors that we spend all day in front of. It’s not just about cutting hair; it’s about the regulars who come in to talk about their week while they get a trim. We aren't some high-end place with white marble floors and expensive water. It’s just a comfortable shop where you can sit down and get your hair sorted. Sometimes the floor gets covered in hair faster than we can sweep it up. We do haircuts, styling, and some basic skin stuff too. The lighting is bright so we can see what we’re doing. Tatanagar is always moving, so we get a lot of walk-ins who are just passing by the square. It can get pretty loud on weekends when everyone wants to look their best for an event or a wedding. We just keep the scissors moving and the towels clean. My staff and I have been working together for a while, so we have a good rhythm going. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything fancy like that. We just show up, open the doors, and start working on whoever walks in. It’s a simple business but we enjoy the work and the people we meet every day.
