Around D World

We are way up on the fifth floor of the Manashi Apartment in New Baradwari. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is not working which happens more often than we would like. The office is basically a converted flat with a few tables and a lot of travel brochures scattered around. We have a good view of the neighborhood from the balcony but we are usually too busy with paperwork to look out. Most people call us on the phone instead of coming up here but we still have locals dropping by now and then for a chat. We handle all sorts of travel stuff like passports and visas which can be a real headache with all the changing rules. I started this because I liked the idea of seeing different places even if I mostly just stay behind my desk these days. My desk is always covered in sticky notes and old coffee mugs. We use a couple of old printers that make a lot of noise when they are working. It is a quiet office for the most part except when the phones start ringing all at once. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in you just talk to whoever is sitting closest to the door. We try to keep things organized but with so many different bookings it can get a bit chaotic during the busy seasons.
