Sahara Construction, or Samay Construction as some know it, is located on MLA Road in the Haludbani area. We are over in Parsudih, not too far from the Tatanagar post office. The office is at the residence of Late M. K. Sinha. It is a local place through and through. We have been part of the Jamshedpur community for years. Usually, you will find us talking about cement prices or looking at land plots around Jharkhand. It is a family-style operation here. We do not have those glass-walled offices you see in big cities. Our space is lived-in and full of files. We know the roads around here like the back of our hand. MLA Road can get busy, but we like being where the action is. When we started out, we just wanted to do honest work in the building trade. Now we handle bigger projects but the approach is the same. We take things one step at a time. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is just us drinking tea and waiting for a delivery. We have built up a lot of trust with the locals over time. People stop by to ask for advice on their own small repairs sometimes. We do not mind. It is part of being in a neighborhood like this. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is not glamorous, but it is what we do.
