Praj Designs

Praj Designs is our little workplace at 45 Rajendra Nagar in the Sakchi area of Jamshedpur. We are situated very close to the Sitala Mandir, which is a great landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. The temple bells and the general activity around the mandir give our neighborhood a nice feel. We work on a variety of design things here. It is mostly just a few of us sitting at our desks and working through various tasks. We don’t have a big corporate culture or anything like that. It’s more like a group of people who know what they are doing and just get on with it. The office is functional and has everything we need, though it might look a bit cluttered to an outsider. We try to keep things real. If a job is going to take a week, we say it will take a week. There is no point in making promises we can't keep. Jamshedpur is a hardworking city, and we try to reflect that in how we run things. We see people from all walks of life coming in. Some just want a small change and others have bigger ideas. We treat everyone the same and just focus on the design work. It’s a quiet life for the most part, punctuated by the busy market days in Sakchi. We like the balance and the fact that we can serve our local community. We are usually here from morning until the evening. That's our life.
