NEW STYLE

Our place is located in Zahoor Bagan, specifically at Holding No. 39 on Road No. 12/2B. It’s over in the Jawaharnagar area, not too far from the Masjid and the Azad Nagar Post Office. It can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't from around here because the lanes are narrow and look the same. We call the shop NEW STYLE. It is basically a small workshop where we handle clothes and tailoring work for the locals. We have a few sewing machines going most of the day, and the sound of the needles is just part of the background. It is a humble setup with fabric rolls leaning against the walls and threads of every color hanging from hooks. We don't have a big glass storefront or plastic mannequins. People usually bring their own cloth, and we talk about the fit and the cut right there at the main wooden table. It is just a local business serving the people in the colony. Sometimes things get backed up before a big festival or a wedding season, and we end up working late into the night. My cousin helps me with the cutting while I handle the customers. We’ve stayed in this same spot for years because the community knows us. It’s not a fancy boutique, just a place where you get your clothes made properly. The lighting inside is a bit dim, but we know where every scissor and needle is kept.
