Little Harvard is found at 15/A in the S.N.P. Area of Sakchi, which is a well-known part of Jamshedpur. We are right near Aambagan, so there’s a bit of greenery around even though the city can be quite industrial. The school is a small place designed for younger children. We have these rooms filled with tiny chairs and colorful mats where the kids spend their mornings. It’s not a massive campus, but it’s cozy and feels safe for the little ones who come here. The staff are mostly local women who have a lot of patience for the daily chaos that comes with running a preschool. You’ll see a lot of finger paintings and paper crafts drying on the windowsills. Outside the gate, Sakchi is always bustling with shoppers and traffic, but once you step inside our little area, it gets much quieter. We keep things simple. We have a schedule for snacks, naps, and play, and we stick to it as best as we can. Sometimes things don’t go perfectly—maybe a toy gets broken or a kid spills their juice—but we just clean it up and move on. It’s an unpretentious spot for children to start their learning. Jamshedpur is a hardworking city, and we think our school reflects that same practical, no-nonsense spirit. It’s just a normal place for normal families in the neighborhood. We have a small shelf where parents leave extra clothes for their kids, just in case of accidents during playtime.
