We are based out in the village of Kundapara, near Palashi in West Bengal. It’s a quiet area compared to the big cities, and that’s just how we like it. Our office is a simple building that serves as our local base for L&T. Being in a place like 743195 means we are close to the actual sites and the people who live here. We don't have a corporate feel at all. Most of the time, the office is full of local guys coming in to check on work or talk about the latest project updates. There’s usually a bit of dust around because of the roadwork, but it doesn't bother us. We have a small team here, and we all know each other’s families. It's more of a community spot than a cold office. We spend our days managing the local requirements and making sure everything is on track for the projects in this part of West Bengal. The internet can be a bit slow out here in the village, so we do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with notebooks and face-to-face chats. It’s a practical way to work, and it keeps us connected to what’s actually happening on the ground. We don't need any big signs or fancy furniture. Just some chairs, a sturdy table, and some good tea to get us through the afternoon. We stay busy but it's a good pace for us.
