Our place is tucked away in the Farmarea of Kadma, Jamshedpur. It’s actually at Q.No-83/L-5, Room Number 2. If you know Jamshedpur, you know Kadma is a busy little area with a lot of houses and small shops. Being part of Heavy Engineering Corporation Ltd. means we’re always busy with some project or another. The office isn't anything special, just a room where we keep our files and meet up before heading out to the sites. It can get a bit cramped when everyone is in at once. Jamshedpur is a steel town, so everyone understands what we do without us having to explain much. We’ve been here for a good while, and the neighbors know us. The work involves a lot of technical stuff, but we try to keep things simple. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait it out, but that’s just life here in Jharkhand. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest. We just want to finish the work we’re assigned. You might see us walking to the local market for a snack in the afternoon. It’s a practical way of living. We handle the heavy stuff so others don’t have to. It's a lot of metal, a lot of sweat, and making sure the measurements are right. Just a local team in a small office doing what we know best.
