Warsa Plywood

We are located on Masjid Road in the Golmuri area. If you come by, you’ll mostly see stacks of plywood and various wood products leaning against the walls. The smell of sawdust is pretty much a constant thing here, which I suppose is part of the job when you deal with timber and boards all day. The shop isn’t fancy at all. It’s a practical space where we store our stock and meet with people who are looking to buy materials for their furniture or home construction. Most of the people who walk through our door are local carpenters or homeowners who have a specific project in mind. We spend a good chunk of our time measuring sheets, moving heavy boards around, and loading them onto trucks or rickshaws. It’s physical work and your hands definitely get rough after a few years of doing this. Masjid Road is a busy place, so there’s always noise from the street and people passing by. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the different grades of wood and which ones are better for certain jobs. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy when a big shipment arrives, but we eventually get everything sorted into the right piles. It’s a steady kind of life, working with our hands and making sure people get the right materials for their builds. We don't worry too much about appearances, we just focus on the wood.
