Empire Industries

Empire Industries is located on M E School Rd. in the Jugsalai area. It’s a narrow road and it can get quite congested with carts and people during the market hours. We’ve been in this location for a long time, and the building definitely shows its age. There are cracks in the floor and the windows rattle when a heavy truck goes past. We do manufacturing work here, so it is often quite loud inside. There is the smell of oil and metal in the air most of the time. We have several old machines that we’ve kept running for years with a bit of luck and a lot of maintenance. Our team is small and everyone has been here for years. We don't really use titles or anything like that; we just all jump in and do what needs to be done. Sometimes we have to work late to get an order finished, and we’ll order some food from the shop around the corner. The lighting in the back of the shop isn't the best, but we know where everything is even in the dark. It is a gritty, busy place to work, but there is a good feeling among the staff. We like being part of the community here in Jugsalai. It’s just an old-fashioned factory where people work with their hands and get things made.
