We are over here at Mishra Centre in Adityapur. If you know the Shere Punjab landmark, we are basically right there on Tata Kandra Road. It’s a busy spot with lots of traffic going past all day. Most of the time, we are busy sorting through components and fixing things that people bring in. It is not a very fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks, tools, and a lot of wires. My cousin started helping out last year because the paperwork was getting to be too much for just one person to handle. We stay open pretty late sometimes depending on if a job is tough. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers but we just ignore it. People find us because they need something specific for their radios or power boards. We try to keep things organized but once you get a few big projects going, the table gets covered in solder and bits of plastic. Adityapur is a good place to be for this kind of work. The tea stall downstairs makes decent chai which helps on those long afternoons when the heat is a bit much. It’s just a small team of us working here every day. We’ve been at this unit for a while now and most people in the building know who we are. It’s quiet in the mornings before the main road gets packed with trucks. We just do our work and go home.
